Nokia E72 Review

The new Nokia E72 can be the perfect device if you are looking for the best balance between price, quality, business usability and entertainment.

The E72 is the next phone from the E-series, which are business phones by nature. It’s only 128 grams, so you won’t even notice that it’s in your pocket. It’s four corners are rounded just a little bit.

Although it’s E-series phone, it doesn’t mean that it can’t be used as a personal entertainment device. It has a 5 MP camera with auto focus, CMOS sensor, 5x digital zoom and LED flash. Video recording can be made with 640×480px resolution and 15 frames per second (FPS). The display is 2.4 inch TFT with 320×240 pixels (QVGA) and 16.7 million colors. Standard stuff like Radio, Bluetooth, voice recording, calculator, currency converter, calendar, notepad, profiles, voice commands are present.

The business usability is helped by the full QWERTY keyboard and the integrated Nokia Browser. Nokia E72 supports 3.5G, so the high speed internet browsing and video calls are top-notch. GPS navigation is available.

Nokia E72 is available in 3 different color variations: zodiac black, metal grey (my favorite), topaz brown. High speed file transfers via Micro-USB 2.0 are not missing.

Multimedia capabilities are nice. 3.5mm audio jack for stereo headphones, 4GB microSD memory card for your music and videos (expandable to 16GB).

The Nokia E72 is currently priced at around $450.
