Nokia announced that the navigation will be for FREE FOREVER with Ovi Maps. Currently, the navigation supports over 70 countries. Instructions are available for both car travelling and on-foot navigation. Map updates will also be free for life.

I don’t know what those work for, but free Lonely Planet guides and Michelin guides are included too.

The current list of compatible devices for Ovi Maps is: Nokia X6, Nokia N97 mini, E72, E55, E52, Nokia 6730 classic, Nokia 6710 Navigator, Nokia 5800 Xpressmusic, Nokia 5800 Navigation Edition, Nokia 5230 and more.
