Nokia has recently announced their new smartphone – the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic and (yes, you guessed it) it will be focused on music playback or multimedia entertainment overall. It looks amazingly like the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic and also runs the Symbian S60 5th Edition OS. The camera is 3.2 megapixel with LED flash. The display is 2.9 inch touch-screen.

Since it’s mainly made for multimedia, the standart handset capabilities are here – a 3.5mm audio jack for headphones, FM radion and 4GB integrated memory.

The drawbacks of the Nokia 5530 XpressMusic is that it doesn’t have GPS and 3G. Those are features that are mandatory for any modern phone, I say. Bad move, Nokia. However, it has W-LAN, so it’s not a big loss – you can still have the option of enjoying full-speed internet browsing on the comfortable large screen.
