Nokia N97 Review

Nokia N97 Review nokia n97 review

The Nokia N97 was one of Nokia’s biggest secrets, apart from the fact that it is the first Nokia phone with touch-screen. It was one of the most anticipated flagship mobile phones recently, and it delivered. The design is completely new for a Nokia phone. There are no plastic parts, known from the Nokia N95 or Nokia N96. The N97 generally looks like an E-Series device, giving it a (right) impression of being extremely solid.

The keyboard is super-cool and ergonomic. It has a horizontal tild-slide factor, which converts the device from a touch-screen device, to a feature packed laptop/landscape QWERTY device. The device is quite large at length, but that is justified, because of the size of the screen and included QWERTY keyboard. The dimensions are 117.2 x 55.3 x 15.9 mm and the physical size is around 150g.

N97 runs on Symbian S60 5th edition (like Nokia 5800 “Tube”) and is mostly entertainment focused, while it has big business uses too, as well as social aspect, through the fully featured OVI services. The 5-th edition of the Symbian S60 OS is upgraded with additional improvements to the UPnP, Internet Radio and the Nokia Photos application.
